Andrew is a Senior Consultant in the Technology team at Method Recruitment Group. His role focuses on the recruitment of product management and strategy professionals across the Melbourne B2B and B2C markets.
Technology delivery has been moving at a rapid pace since Andrew began his career in 2012. Then, product was still in its infancy, and the majority of it was delivered as projects within a PMO to internal customers. Now the external customers are far more prevalent, and the majority of projects that were in a PMO are products headed up by new titles to drive customer engagement such as CXO, CPO and CDO. Andrew is passionate about product strategy, innovation and execution and finds working with likeminded people, thoroughly enjoyable and highly rewarding.
Andrew has had the opportunity to work in New Zealand, UK and Australian markets and believes that Melbourne cannot be beaten due to its combination of innovation and relationship-driven culture.
When he is not travelling for work, Andrew is an avid hiker. He recently completed the 500km John Muir Trail in the US, climbed Slovenia’s highest mountain (not without some seriously hairy moments) and is planning to tackle Tasmania’s Overland Track in September.
He spends a lot of time at home at his parents’ sheep and beef farm in rural New Zealand where he can indulge some of his obsessions such as shooting and fly fishing. He’s even had some of his clients stay there.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Canterbury.
