About the Role

This is a well-established, family-run maritime business based in Williamstown looking for a proactive and reliable Administration Assistant.

The role is varied and hands-on, supporting day-to-day office operations, with the opportunity to work closely with leadership in a small, down-to-earth team.

Perfect for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and values flexibility and stability over corporate structure.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing reception and general office administration
  • Supporting the GM and team with day-to-day operations
  • Data entry across systems (including maintenance and training records)
  • Assisting with basic bookkeeping (Reckon Hosted - training offered)
  • Coordinating training logistics (bookings, catering, materials)
  • Managing travel bookings and schedules
  • Preparing and formatting documents and reports
  • Assisting with social media updates

What We’re Looking For

  • Someone happy to be fully in office with flexible hours (3pm finish and flexible start time). 
  • Previous admin experience (2+ years ideal)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident with systems and picking up new tools
  • A proactive, can-do attitude
  • Personable character who thrives in a small, informal team
