Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage comprehensive audit engagements from initial planning through to final reporting, ensuring adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Review financial statements and audit files across a diverse client base, maintaining high standards of accuracy and insight.
  • Foster strong client relationships by acting as a trusted adviser and primary contact throughout engagements.
  • Oversee engagement planning, risk assessment, resource allocation, and budgeting to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide technical guidance on auditing, accounting, and financial reporting issues, supporting team members’ development.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff, cultivating a high-performance team environment.
  • Identify risks, issues, and opportunities for process improvements early, escalating concerns appropriately to senior leadership.
  • Stay informed of the latest regulatory, economic, and industry developments impacting clients and the audit landscape.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing audit methodologies, systems, and service quality.
  • Support business development initiatives by assisting with proposals, leveraging your network, and identifying opportunities for expanding client relationships.

You are a commercially astute audit professional with a proven track record of managing complex audits and leading high-performing teams. With excellent communication skills and a meticulous attention to detail, you thrive in fast-paced settings and excel at crafting innovative solutions to complex problems.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related business discipline.
  • CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent).
  • At least 6 years’ experience in professional audit environments.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Capability to lead and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional growth.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • CA or CPA qualified professionals with over 6 years’ experience in a professional services setting, ideally within a mid-sized or large firm.

Other Requirements:

  • Availability for occasional travel to client sites as needed.
