An opportunity has become available for an experienced Bookkeeper to join the team in a varied, client-facing role. Working closely with Accountants and clients, you will be responsible for delivering accurate bookkeeping services while supporting businesses with their day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations
- Payroll processing, STP reporting and superannuation obligations
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS
- Maintaining accurate financial records and client files
- Managing client bookkeeping queries and providing ongoing support
- Assisting with month-end and year-end reporting requirements
- Supporting accountants with compliance and reporting activities
- Ensuring adherence to relevant accounting and payroll legislation
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous bookkeeping experience within a public practice accounting firm
- Strong working knowledge of Xero (experience with MYOB or QuickBooks also advantageous)
- Experience processing payroll and preparing BAS lodgements
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
- A professional, proactive and team-oriented approach
