We're partnering with a leading financial services organisation to source an experienced Business Analyst to join a large-scale digital transformation program focused on delivering a seamless, customer-centric experience across multiple digital channels.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within cross-functional Agile squads, helping shape and deliver solutions that enhance how customers interact with the business. You'll play a key role in bridging the gap between business and technology, translating strategic objectives into actionable requirements and supporting the successful delivery of critical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate strategic business needs into clear, actionable requirements to support solution design and delivery.
- Engage with stakeholders across business and technology teams to build strong relationships and drive successful outcomes.
- Document business processes, business rules, requirements, dependencies, risks and benefits.
- Support end-to-end delivery while ensuring governance, risk and operational considerations are incorporated throughout the analysis process.
- Work closely with Product Owners to support backlog refinement, prioritisation, options analysis and benefits realisation activities.
- Produce high-quality business requirements, epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with Agile Delivery Leads, technical teams and delivery squads to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
- Define and document functional, non-functional, technical and integration requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering complex business and technology transformation initiatives.
- Experience working on digital delivery programs, ideally involving customer-facing platforms, digital channels or customer experience transformation.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence outcomes across complex environments.
- Demonstrated experience working in Agile delivery environments, with exposure to Waterfall methodologies advantageous.
- Strong requirements elicitation, process mapping and documentation capabilities.
- Experience writing epics, user stories and detailed business requirements.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office 365 and process modelling tools such as Visio or draw.io.
- Ability to work effectively within fast-paced, cross-functional delivery teams.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline.
