Join a leading Melbourne-based Financial Services organisation undertaking a critical cyber security and application control initiative. We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the operational transition of a newly integrated Airlock platform into Business-as-Usual operations.
This is a unique opportunity for a BA with strong End User Computing (EUC), Application Control, Cyber Security, or Infrastructure experience to work across operational readiness, process design, stakeholder engagement, and governance.
You'll play a critical role in ensuring the successful onboarding, adoption, and ongoing management of the platform across multiple technology and business teams.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Define and document end-to-end operational processes across policy management, cyber risk assessments, exception handling, governance, monitoring, and reporting
- Develop process maps, SOPs, runbooks, knowledge articles, and operational documentation
- Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and operating models through RACI development and stakeholder alignment
- Engage and onboard BAU support teams, facilitating workshops, walkthroughs, and operational readiness activities
- Conduct asset discovery and landscape mapping across on-premise and cloud infrastructure environments
- Work closely with Application Owners, Infrastructure, DevOps, Security Architecture, and Cyber Security teams to gather requirements and support onboarding activities
- Perform impact assessments and risk analysis to identify potential operational or application risks
- Support policy refinement through audit log analysis and operational feedback during rollout phases
- Act as the bridge between technical delivery teams and business stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into practical business outcomes
About You:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering operational readiness, transition-to-BAU, or technology transformation initiatives
- Previous experience working with Application Control technologies (Airlock, AppLocker, WDAC, Carbon Black, or similar) is highly desirable
- Strong process mapping and documentation capability, including SOPs, workflows, and operating models
- Experience facilitating workshops and engaging diverse stakeholder groups across technology and business functions
- Understanding of cyber security, infrastructure, endpoint management, or End User Computing environments
- Experience working within complex, regulated environments, ideally Financial Services
- Ability to navigate enterprise environments and drive stakeholder alignment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences
What's On Offer?
- Immediate start contract through to December 2026
- Opportunity to contribute to a critical cyber security and operational transformation initiative within a leading Financial Services organisation
- Exposure to enterprise-scale technology, governance and risk environments
- Melbourne CBD location with hybrid working arrangements
- Potential contract extension beyond the initial term
If you're a Business Analyst with experience across Application Control, EUC, Cyber Security, or Operational Readiness programs and are looking for your next contract opportunity, we'd love to hear from you!
