The Role
This is a newly shaped Sales role designed to support growth while maintaining commercial discipline and brand integrity.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships across independent grocers, major retail, distributors, and emerging channels, while helping to bring new products to market.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing and growing a portfolio across independent grocers, market distributors, and national retailers

Supporting private label and owned brand relationships across major retail customers

Identifying and securing new opportunities with independent retailers, health food stores, on-premise and key distributors

Leveraging an established portfolio to support the rollout of new value added and product ranges

Working closely with the General Manager on commercial strategy, with direct involvement on key accounts

Supporting new product innovation, including emerging wellness and functional food products

Representing the business confidently in a highly relationship driven market

About You
You are a self managed, commercially astute sales professional who understands the realities of selling premium products in competitive, price sensitive categories.
You will likely bring:

Experience in fresh food, FMCG, food manufacturing, or agricultural supply

Background as an Area Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, or Business Development Manager

Strong understanding of the Victorian grocery and fresh food landscape

Confidence pitching to independents, distributors, and national accounts

Commercial judgement across pricing, mix, and customer prioritisation

A genuine interest in product development and innovation
