The opportunity
The Commercial Manager will play a key role supporting both tendering and project delivery activities across the business. Reporting into senior commercial leadership, this role will work closely with Legal, Estimating and Project teams to ensure commercial risk is well understood, managed and controlled from bid stage through to project completion.

The role will suit someone who enjoys being close to the work, contributing to strong commercial outcomes while protecting value and margin in a practical, solutions-focused way.

Key responsibilities will include (but aren't limited to) the following:
  • Provide commercial input and reviews for tenders and bids
  • Support pricing strategies, departures and clarifications
  • Partner with Legal to ensure commercial and contractual alignment
  • Conduct post?award commercial health checks across projects
  • Support negotiations on scope, value and risk allocation
  • Work closely with project teams to protect margin and prevent value leakage

About you
You will bring solid commercial or contracts experience within construction, infrastructure, engineering or adjacent sectors, along with the confidence to challenge assumptions and support sound decision making.

Typically, we are looking for:
  • Experience in commercial or contracts roles within delivery environments
  • Strong understanding of project economics and risk allocation
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and communicate clearly
  • A proactive, accountable and pragmatic approach
