The Opportunity

We’re partnering with a forward?thinking organisation to find an experienced Data Modeler who enjoys shaping how data is structured, governed and used across the business. You’ll play a key role in designing scalable, high?quality data models that support analytics, reporting and enterprise decision?making.

This is a hands?on role where you’ll collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, architects and business stakeholders to turn complex requirements into clear, well?governed data assets.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models across enterprise and analytics platforms
  • Work with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into fit?for?purpose data structures
  • Define and enforce data standards, naming conventions and modelling best practices
  • Support data governance initiatives, including lineage, metadata and quality
  • Partner with engineering teams to ensure models are implemented effectively in target platforms (e.g. cloud data warehouses)
  • Contribute to documentation and ongoing optimisation of data assets

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a Data Modeler or closely related data architecture role
  • Strong understanding of dimensional modelling , relational design and data warehousing concepts
  • Experience working with modern data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Azure Synapse)
  • Proficiency with data modelling tools (e.g. Erwin, Enterprise Architect, PowerDesigner or similar)
  • Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non?technical stakeholders
  • Experience working in agile or product?led delivery environments

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to data governance, master data or metadata management
  • Experience in large, complex or regulated environments
  • Consulting or multi?stakeholder delivery experience
