Financial Accounting Manager | Lead Financial Excellence in Not-for-Profit Sector | 6 month contract

• Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably within the not-for-profit sector
• Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and regulations
• Expertise in financial statements preparation, consolidations, and month-end/year-end processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and financial software
• Exceptional attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders

• CPA/CA qualification or equivalent financial accreditation
• Experience with grant management and funding reporting
• Knowledge of Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) requirements
• Leadership experience managing teams

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CA qualification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial accounting, with leadership exposure
• Prior experience working within the not-for-profit sector is highly advantageous
