Marketing & Communications Specialist - Part Time

In this newly created role, you’ll manage digital content, oversee website performance, and craft engaging content—all while working closely with internal teams and external partners. Required Skills

  • 4–8+ years of marketing experience in professional, financial, or similar services environments
  • Strong digital marketing skills including WordPress, SEO, and Google Analytics
  • Confident writing, editing, and content management capabilities
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects end-to-end with pragmatism and independence
  • Demonstrated experience reporting on website performance and digital initiatives
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience using Canva or similar graphic design platforms
  • Knowledge of industry competitors and search engine ranking strategies
  • Experience supporting events and webinars (e.g., Eventbrite)
  • Basic understanding of industry trends and marketing best practices

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related fields preferred
  • At least 4 years of hands-on marketing experience, ideally within professional or financial services sectors

Other Requirements

  • Based in Melbourne with the ability to commute to Blackburn and eastern suburbs three days per week
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
  • A friendly, bubbly personality with a team-oriented attitude and a desire to engage socially within the workplace
  • Flexibility to work three days a week, ideally during school hours, with a supportively inclusive company culture
