What You'll Do:As a Penetration Tester, you will leverage your expertise to identify, exploit, and help remediate security weaknesses across complex networks, applications, and systems. Required Skills:
- Proven experience in penetration testing, ethical hacking, or cybersecurity assessments
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, security architecture, and operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Familiarity with penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Nmap, Burp Suite, Wireshark, and Kali Linux
- Solid understanding of common vulnerabilities, exploits, and mitigation strategies
- Experience with scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
- Certifications such as OSCP, CEH, CISSP, or GPEN
- Experience with cloud security assessments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security
- Skills in reverse engineering or malware analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in penetration testing or security auditing within enterprise environments
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements or conferences
- Strong communication skills to convey complex security issues to technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team
