An organisation undergoing a period of transformation is seeking an experienced Project Officer to support the delivery of strategic and operational initiatives across the business.
This is a hands?on, delivery?focused role suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple initiatives, bringing structure to complexity, and supporting teams through change. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure projects are well?planned, clearly reported, and delivered end?to?end.
This role is ideal for a Project Officer with several years’ experience who is ready to step into broader exposure and grow toward a future PMO or Project Manager pathway.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver projects from initiation through to completion
- Support organisational change and transformation initiatives
- Establish and embed practical project management frameworks and reporting
- Track milestones, risks, dependencies and delivery outcomes
- Produce clear, executive?ready project updates and insights
- Support the selection and implementation of project management tools and systems
About you You will bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in a Project Officer, Senior Project Officer or Project Analyst role
- Strong project management capability, with formal certification (PRINCE2, PM or similar) highly regarded
- Experience working across complex or changing environments
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively and adapt to change
- Experience in large, multi?stakeholder organisations (e.g. corporate, government, education or not?for?profit) is advantageous.
