Are you a commercially minded Business Analyst who enjoys mapping business processes, defining requirements, and helping shape large-scale transformation initiatives?

We are partnering with a leading Australian organisation to appoint a Senior Business Analyst to join its Digital Transformation team in Melbourne.

This is a high-impact role working across a broad portfolio of strategic initiatives spanning ERP, data and analytics, automation, procurement, warehousing, and integrated business planning. You'll work closely with business and technology stakeholders to define future-state processes and ensure solutions deliver measurable business outcomes.

The role sits within a growing transformation function responsible for scoping, prioritising and delivering enterprise-wide initiatives across multiple technology pillars, including ERP, data, cyber, AI, automation and manufacturing systems.

This opportunity would suit a process-driven Business Analyst with a consulting mindset who can operate comfortably across both business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery workshops to understand business objectives, pain points and improvement opportunities
  • Document business, functional and technical requirements
  • Map current and future-state processes using BPMN or similar methodologies
  • Support solution design across ERP, integrations, data and analytics platforms
  • Work with stakeholders to prioritise initiatives and define transformation roadmaps
  • Assist with data mapping, reporting and validation activities
  • Support testing, including UAT and defect management
  • Contribute to BA standards, templates and best practices

About You

  • 7+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, with experience in large transformation programs
  • Strong process mapping and business requirements skills
  • Comfortable working across both business and technology teams
  • Exposure to enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle or similar ERP platforms
  • Understanding of integrations, APIs and data flows
  • Experience with SQL and databases for data analysis and validation
  • Familiarity with Power BI, AWS Redshift or modern data platforms is advantageous
  • Consulting background highly regarded
  • Highly structured, commercially minded and focused on delivering measurable outcomes

Nice to Have

  • Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics or warehousing environments
  • Exposure to procurement or integrated business planning initiatives
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies
