A leading enterprise organisation is seeking an experienced contract Senior Business Analyst to support a critical transformation initiative focused on improving technology governance, vendor onboarding, and enterprise operational processes within a complex and highly regulated environment.

As part of a broader governance uplift program, this business is reviewing the way new technologies, vendors, and third-party providers are onboarded across the organisation. Over time, these processes have become increasingly complex, involving multiple approval layers, governance frameworks, procurement requirements, and risk management obligations.

This engagement will focus on improving process visibility, identifying operational inefficiencies, and creating more streamlined, scalable approaches to how technology and vendor onboarding is managed across the enterprise.

The Role:

You will partner with stakeholders across technology, procurement, risk, and operational functions to analyse current-state workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and strengthen governance practices.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading discovery and documentation of end-to-end processes across technology onboarding, vendor onboarding, procurement workflows, and third-party governance processes
  • Mapping complex business processes using BPMN, Visio, Signavio, or equivalent process modelling tools
  • Conducting time-in-motion and operational analysis to assess process cycle times, delays, rework, and inefficiencies
  • Breaking down complex workflows to identify duplication, unnecessary governance layers, and process waste
  • Establishing baseline process performance metrics and identifying opportunities to improve turnaround times
  • Analysing operational data to provide evidence-based recommendations for process improvement initiatives
  • Supporting future-state process design focused on improving governance pathways, decision-making efficiency, and stakeholder accountability
  • Assisting in identifying opportunities for workflow automation, process orchestration, and technology enablement initiatives
  • Facilitating workshops with cross-functional stakeholders to validate process design and improvement opportunities

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst within enterprise or highly regulated environments
  • Strong background in process improvement, operational transformation, or governance uplift initiatives
  • Experience working across technology onboarding, vendor management, procurement, or third-party risk frameworks
  • Advanced process mapping capability using BPMN or equivalent modelling frameworks
  • Strong analytical capability with experience conducting workflow analysis, process decomposition, and operational efficiency reviews
  • Confidence engaging senior stakeholders across technology, risk, operations, procurement, and governance functions
  • Ability to simplify complex operational processes and deliver practical, scalable improvement recommendations
Role specifics:
  • Hybrid in Melbourne CBD
  • Day-rate contract, initially 4-months with possible extensions
  • Immediate start-date (W/C 22nd June 2026)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-profile transformation program focused on improving how technology and external partners are governed, onboarded, and operationalised within a large enterprise environment.
