A well-established professional services firm is looking to add a Senior Transfer Pricing Consultant to its growing Tax team.

This is an opportunity to work with a diverse client base, ranging from privately owned businesses and SMEs through to large multinational groups. You’ll be involved in a broad range of transfer pricing advisory and compliance matters, with exposure to complex international tax issues and direct interaction with senior members of the team.

The role will give you the opportunity to work across areas including international restructures, cross-border transactions, transfer pricing planning, tax authority reviews and ongoing compliance.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll play an important role in delivering transfer pricing advice and supporting clients across a range of international tax matters, including:

  • Preparing transfer pricing documentation, analysis, financial models and supporting data.
  • Assisting with transfer pricing reviews, audits and tax authority investigations.
  • Applying economic and transfer pricing principles to develop practical solutions for clients.
  • Modelling financial outcomes and assisting with international tax and transfer pricing planning.
  • Supporting the preparation and negotiation of Advance Pricing Arrangements with the ATO and other international tax authorities.
  • Working with clients to identify and manage transfer pricing risks and opportunities.
  • Managing multiple engagements and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Working closely with Managers, Directors and Partners across client engagements.

About You

We’re looking for a technically minded tax professional with a genuine interest in Transfer Pricing and international tax.

You’ll ideally have:

  • 3+ years' experience in Transfer Pricing, Tax Consulting or a closely related area.
  • A degree in Business, Commerce, Law or a related discipline.
  • CA, CPA, Tax Institute qualification or equivalent professional accreditation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work with financial data, models and complex information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive approach and strong attention to detail.
  • Australian working rights.
