Join a leading financial services organisation as a Senior FP&A Analyst – Immediate opportunity to support critical reporting and planning functions

An urgent requirement has arisen for a senior FP&A professional, on a contractor or permanent basis. This is a brillinat role for those in FP&A who like to be curious, to have a seat at the table, and enact stratedgy that makes a real impact. 

This position offers the chance to lead the organisation’s FP&A activities during a significant transformation, providing accurate financial analysis, insightful business partnering, and clear storytelling for senior stakeholders. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial results, variances, and forecasts, with a focus on supporting the successful integration of new systems and processes. The role will also involve initial leadership of the FP&A function, with scope to recruit and build out a team including an analyst in the future.

Key skills and experience include:

  • Significant experience in financial services, with a strong grasp of financial analysis and reporting processes
  • Proven ability to manage financial systems and support system implementations, ideally with exposure to NetSuite or similar ERP platforms
  • Strong storytelling and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively
  • Self-sufficient, proactive approach, with the capacity to work effectively under tight deadlines and high pressure
  • Demonstrated commercial understanding and good judgement in analysing financial data

Preferred qualifications:

  • A professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CIMA, or CA
  • Experience in delivering board-level reporting and performance analysis
  • Exposure to commercial planning, reforecasting, and business case development

Essential considerations:

  • The organisation is seeking candidates who can commence immediately or on short notice (1 month notice period's are fine)
  • FS experience. Ideally non-banking lenders, but FS in general is a must have
  • A minimum of 3 years in a simialr FP&A or FBP role
