The Role

This pivotal National Account Manager - Pharmacy role is dedicated to one of the organisation’s most important and complex retail relationship.

You will have full ownership of the account, responsible for driving growth through best in class joint business planning, range optimisation, promotional strategy and commercial execution. This role partners closely with senior buyer teams and internal leadership, playing a key role in shaping national strategy and performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • End to end ownership of the major pharmacy portfolio
  • Full P&L responsibility and trade investment management
  • Leading JBPs, range reviews, pricing negotiations and promotional plans
  • Driving sales forecasting accuracy and demand planning
  • Building deep, senior level relationships across buying, category and leadership teams
  • Acting as the internal expert on customer dynamics, requirements and execution

The Candidate

This role requires proven, hands on pharmacy experience. 

You are a commercially astute National Account Manager with a strong track record managing pharmacy accounts within FMCG, beauty, health or personal care.

You bring:
  • Demonstrated experience managing major retail or pharmacy as a core national account (essential)
  • Clear understanding of pharmacy trading models, promotional mechanics and ranging expectations
  • Strong commercial and analytical capability, including P&L ownership
  • Confident negotiation skills and experience influencing senior retail stakeholders
  • Ability to operate with pace, resilience and autonomy in a high demand retail environment
  • Passion for brands, consumers and delivering at shelf
