We're seeking an experienced contract Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a Role Based Access Control (RBAC) project, leveraging Identity and Access Management (IDAM) to provision system access based on user roles rather than individual, job-by-job access requests. This is an IDAM-focused engagement, distinct from Privileged Access Management (PAM) work.
The successful candidate will report into the PM Practice Lead while delivering directly on a program of work led by the Program Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of the RBAC/IDAM project, from planning through implementation
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks and stakeholder engagement
- Work closely with cyber security, identity management, and business teams to define role-based access models
- Report project status and risks to the PM Practice Lead
- Partner the program team to align delivery with broader program goals
- Manage vendor/technology partners where relevant (e.g. IDAM platform providers)
About You
- Proven experience delivering cyber security, identity, or access management projects
- Strong understanding of IDAM concepts (RBAC, access provisioning, identity lifecycle); PAM experience alone is not sufficient
- Senior-level stakeholder management experience, comfortable reporting to multiple lines (practice lead + program owner)
- Formal PM certification highly regarded (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar)
- Experience in energy/utilities sector highly regarded (not essential)
